NYC Cruise

Date of adventure: 08/08/2021

Location: NYC Cruise from Brooklyn to Statue of Liberty and back

This was a privately rented yacht for a group of 30 people. The weather was not promising and showed rain and storms so, unfortunately, quite a number of our large group chickened out and did not show. At the end, the day turned out to be decent. It was a bit on the chilly side for a summer yacht day but not as bad as feared. There was some rain in the morning and some rain in the afternoon upon our return. The temperature was in the 70s with no sun, so the kids still had a blast jumping into the ocean off the yacht. It was a bit too cold for me to swim. I’m glad we did not back out of the experience. We saw gorgeous views of the Verrazzano Bridge, Manhattan Skyline, and the Statue of Liberty. We had bagels with cream cheese and various salads for breakfast and a huge barbeque on the dock upon arrival. We also rode a speed boat at the end, which all the kids had a blast on.

If interested, please send me an email and I will share the information of our yacht captain.
